Farbod Mehr Iranian Artist

Farbod Mehr is a young Iranian artist living and working in London who received his architecture degree from the esteemed Central Saint Martins College. He started working in the field of graphical Art after successfully completing his academic research in graphics and avant-garde architecture. Since he was 14 years old, he has been interested in art and design, and through his graphic designs, he has been able to communicate his own ideas and artistic intelligence. The image of Persian mystics as a result of Farbod’s method is a reflection of his origins and personality. Through the prism of contemporary art, he goes beyond the conventional and dissects the essence and constituent parts of his rich history. In order to promote all brilliant Iranian artists worldwide, he created his own curated online magazine and platform called Hypersia. This allowed him to put his passion into a broader perspective in his profession- al career. Farbod Mehr, who previously served as the design director at the London-based studioINTEGRATE architectural and design studio, has established his own multidisciplinary art and design studio Farbod Mehr Studio to express his creative ideas in art, design, and technologies. Architecture, geometry, and art are combined with mystical Persian culture as the major motivation for Farbod’s works of art, which are a unique synthesis of his academic knowledge and a reflection of his origins. and He had the privilege to display his paintings all over the world and participated in group exhi- bitions with some of the most well-known Iranian artists. His works have been purchased by prestigious auction houses including Christie’s, Sotheby’s, and Bonhams, underscoring his importance as a young artist. Many nations have hosted exhibitions of Farbod’s work, and museums such the Agakhan Museum and Durham Museum of Oriental Art have his works on display. Farbod has been named one of GQ mag- azine’s 15 Middle Eastern NFT artists to watch. The British Ambassador to Iran was one of many notable attendees at the opening of his solo exhibition, which at the time was one of Tehran’s busiest and most talked-about shows. After his successful shows, certain well-known collectors, including Princess Diana Binti Nahar Al-Saud and Sheikh Mohammed al-Thani as well as H.I.M. Empress Farah Pahlavi, the final Iranian monarch, began purchasing his works.
