Dates: December 11, 2025 – January 24, 2026
Opening: December 11, 2025 at 18h00
Location: Al-Tiba9 Gallery, Barcelona

Al-Tiba9 Gallery is pleased to present its first major exhibition dedicated to Al-Tiba9 Magazine and its editorial universe. The exhibition brings together all our printed publications since 2018, including the complete collection of Al-Tiba9 Magazine, the Interviews with Artists Art Collectors Book, A Like Artist Book, and a curated selection of artists’ books published by Al-Tiba9.

This exhibition celebrates the printed matter as an extension of artistic and curatorial practice. Visitors are invited to explore the materiality of our publications and immerse themselves in the visual language and the international network of artists that shape the Al-Tiba9’s identity.

The presentation also features a selection of limited edition prints and a special showcase of illustrations by the guest artist Yanlin Song, a Chinese emergent artist featured on our platform and in the latest A Like Artist Book. This marks her first public collaboration with the gallery.

Join us for this unique exhibition and experience the essence of Al-Tiba9 Contemporary, where publishing becomes an art form, and each page reveals a new perspective on contemporary creation.

Yanlin Song | Guest Artist

ENG.

Yanlin Song is a multidisciplinary illustrator based in Shanghai. She began her formal painting training in 2008, immersing herself in Impressionist works. Her studies in architecture and art history at the university further expanded her aesthetic sensibility and artistic vision. From 2017 to 2021, she worked as a brand designer while self-studying illustration. In 2022, she left her stable job to pursue independent creative work, choosing illustration as her medium to explore the relationship between herself and the external world.

Her artwork was shortlisted for the 10th Hiii Illustration International Competition in 2023 and won the iJUNGLE Illustration Awards 2023 Self-Promotion Merit Award. In 2024, her pieces were exhibited at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum.
